PLANSERVICE was contracted to Construction Management the Retrofit works of B3's facilities in downtown São Paulo, covering the XV de Novembro unit, with an area of 17,465 m², spread over 10 floors and 1 basement, the Praça Antonio Prado unit, with area of 15,700 m², spread over 9 floors and 4 basements, and also at the João Brícola unit, with an area of 9,500 m², with 14 floors and 1 basement, for a total of 42,665 m². All units had different degrees of heritage protection, which were fully respected.
The design of the retrofit and restoration took into account the execution of the works with the possibility of full occupation of the buildings by the users and a risk and contingencies mitigation plan was necessary to guarantee the operation of the areas that remained active. This issue required intense planning on the part of the contracted construction company and the Plansevice teams, in order to fully meet all local conditions, work logistics and waste management.
